I had several cases when they made me miss medical appointments and I arrived late to physical therapy because they were very late to pick me up. I had a few drivers who were even racist to me. Some drivers that were coming even several hours late and drivers that were very bad and mean to me when they transported me to my medical appointments. They have very bad transportation companies and bad taxi companies working for them. This is the company that is providing my medical transportation to my medical, dental, radiology appointments and physical therapy sessions through my insurance company. Some of the car services and drivers have been causing me a lot of problems. I've been a member of the company for several years. ![]() ![]() I'm writing to you because I would like to file a complaint against my medical transportation company Medical Answering Services LLC from Syracuse. As a result I had to use the money for my rent for a hotel and a bus to ensure that my daughter was able to have necessary procedure even though I gave MAS a weeks notice of the appointment. I called MAS back and spoke to Jasmine, a manager, at first she told me there was nothing she could do, then she says she would reach out to the director and someone would call me back. At that point I was no longer able to get a hold of anyone at ********** ****** being that it was after 5pm on a Friday. Again, I called the social worker and she was going to get it taken care of right away. I received an email at 4:44 that the letter has to be signed by a physician. I immediately called and had the social worker send it over. On Friday at 1:30 pm I received a call from ********** ****** and was told I needed a letter of medical necessity. I called multiple times throughout the week. I called Medical Answering Services on 5/1 to set up transportation. My daughter has a medical appointment in NYC on 5/8. Thank you for your prompt attention concerning this matter. For as long as I need to utilize MAS I prefer to have reliable and safe services that are not making money an issue. Kindly find a resolution to this matter since their lack of good business acumen and follow through has caused me to cancel my appointment. I require a wheelchair and two people to assist me.This company advertised that they offered this type of service however it appears to be falling short, Apparently MAS is not able to deliver reliable service and that is a major concern when sick people are involved. I have issues with walking since my hip is currently fractured. The correct form was provided yet MAS plays games by not delivering the proper services. The company requested a signed 2015 form that indicated that I am entitled to ambulette and wheelchair service. MAS is creating the impression that they are very unprofessional and unreliable. Each time I call to confirm the reservations it is a different story and I am told there is no reservation on file or they are unable to take me to my doctor's appointment on. Some of the services such as ** ********* do not have the best rating and have many complaints associated with them. I was assigned to about 4 or 5 different companies. ![]() Since that time no one has gotten back to me regarding approval or rejection of the custom payment request. Med Answering was called and asked to process a custom payment since I, the patient preferred them. ******* was ambivalent to take the call because they wanted a custom payment. The patient used ******* ************** on, and wanted them to be her PPT for all appointments. On Ja reservation was made for ******** *.
